At our Radipole Lake Visitor Centre, we sell a wide range of binoculars and telescopes, available to try and buy every day of the year, with expert advice on hand to help you get the best solution, but we also run special events, where a wider range is available to try.

Help keep the habitat at Ham Common as open, mixed heathland and stop it becoming one large gorse bush!  Joint event with Dorset Countryside Volunteers Group.

Take part in some practical conservation and help preserve this fragile environment.

Many people that love getting out to watch wildlife are dog owners. Here is a great opportunity for responsible dog owners and well-behaved pooches to enjoy this amazing nature reserve. Dogs on leads and poo bags please! Free binocular hire available.

Calling all kids! Bugs are important in nature and deserve to be looked after so join us for this fun day out and help us build Arne’s first home for creepy crawlies. We will be building it out of all sorts of materials from straw to bricks, to logs to plants!
