South Dorset Ridgeway Schools Day a great success
130 school children experienced life in the Iron Age with a special school day on the South Dorset Ridgeway. It was held on June 19th to encourage local schools to discover what amazing history they have on their doorstep. The children enjoyed story telling and an iron age market place to give them a taste of life here in the past.
The event marks the launch of a treasure chest of resources now available to schools to help bring history of the Ridgeway alive.
